The Customer Services group at Axis is currently setting up an EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) helpdesk function in Lund, and we are now looking for a support engineer to serve our customers in Europe. Support is currently provided in English, French, Swedish, German, Spanish and Italian. You should have English as your mother tongue. This position is based in Lund, but there will be daily contact with our UK office. The Customer Services group at Axis is a very international team. Your colleagues in the group work with product support, user documentation, training and pre-sales information. Position description: *You will be providing valuable phone and electronic support to end-users, resellers and distributors. You will also be providing potential customers with pre-sales information about Axis products *You will have at your disposal a team of product specialists who can provide you with product-specific assistance for resolving the more complicated cases We would expect the successful candidate for this position to have the following background: *Knowledge of basic computer software, network and hardware technology *Experience of network operating systems such as; Windows 2000, Windows NT or Unix *A keen general interest in networking technologies, the Internet, LANs and network products *Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in helping solve our customers problems Experience of networking protocols such as TCP/IP is a definite plus.
