What we are looking for
We’re now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to support Uniper in driving the energy transition to the next level.
You will be responsible for project management of individual projects and business development in the Nordics. Seeing that there are numerous changes there could be possibilities of increased responsibilities to help Uniper make an impact to the decarbonization agenda in the Nordics.
Uniper’s Nordic Business Development team belongs to the parent company Sydkraft AB with offices in Malmö and Stockholm. Traveling will occur on a regular basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage projects on time and on budget
• Project management of business development initiatives and aligning progress and follow up on a reoccurring basis
• Supporting on portfolio view on Uniper’s assets
Drive business Development
• Developing business within key areas with close proximity to Uniper’s part of the energy ecosystem, including innovation and new revenue streams
• Develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients, coordinating between functional units within Uniper or delegate mandate to stakeholders involved from Uniper
• Support the identification of private and public grants and funding opportunities
• Coordination and creation of financial and strategic decision material for management
• Systematic assessment of processes, performance and gaps to best practice
• Continuous dialogue between Uniper and Fortum Group units
• Representation in relevant forums regarding business development (internal as well as external)
Uniper is positive to a flexible approach around remote working based on the conditions of the business and the individual employee.
Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.
Who we are seeking
You probably have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject such as Engineering, Business Administration or similar. You are an experienced project manager and have knowledge concerning project management, project governance, strategy and business development. You work with a flexible approach and have a track record of driving commercial as well as technical projects in the energy sector. You have a strong business acumen and the ability to see the bigger picture. You have experience and good understanding of the energy transition, business development and stakeholder management.
As we work in an international environment, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English written as well as spoken.
To be successful in this role you need a strong commercial mindset. You have integrity, work proactively and have great communication skills. You are used to a high degree of self-management and taking own initiatives. In addition, you have an understanding and experience of working with human factors including human performance. You have the self-drive and motivation to work on your own as well as a part of a wider team.
