Your responsibilities
Unleash your financial expertise in Sweden's top senior finance role in Uniper: Embrace variety, navigate change, and champion diversity with us.
You report functionally to the EVP Business Controlling Power within the CFO area and will cover two main areas of responsibilities: Business Controlling and Finance Director Sweden.
You will be responsible for 11 direct reports (functional and legal) with different levels of experience and be the single point of contact for financial matters to the Country Chairman Uniper Sweden and COO Nuclear. You are expected to show strong strategic, business and financial acumen with great leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Your main responsibilities:
Business Controlling
• Part of the global Business Controlling Power management team
• Sparring partner to the Country Chairman and COO Nuclear with regards to governance & performance management
• Provide holistic view and transparency on operational and financial performance.
• Define and follow up on short and long term financial targets.
• Active member of Senior Management team for Uniper’ s Nuclear business area (Nuclear Sweden).
• Accountable for all main controlling processes within the Nuclear area (e.g. MTP (Midterm planning), Forecast, impairment, reporting etc.)
• Support process for performance reviews and within that context actively challenge business to reach financial targets.
• Manage and develop the Controlling teams in Sweden.
Finance Director Sweden
• You will be Legal line manager for all CFO functions in Sweden.
• Active member of the Senior Management Team in Sweden, Country Council Sweden, with accountability of administrational and financial matters.
• Manager for cross functional finance topics in Sweden.
• Most senior contact to external auditors of all Swedish entities, with respect to statutory accounts and IFRS reporting.
• Finance Manager for parent company of Uniper Sweden group, incl. authorized signature of the firm.
• Accountable for all financial matters concerning legal entities in Sweden, incl. authorized signature and owner of such matters in relation to Board of Directors.
• Develop a high performing CFO function team in Sweden, incl. cross functional succession planning.
• You are also expected to be able to take the role as Board Member in different Boards; i.e. fully owned and/or co-owned subsidiaries.

We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. You have expert skills in performance management, accounting, business modelling and strategy processes. You are knowledgeable of the Energy Market. You also have knowledge of process optimization methods such as Operational Excellence and Six Sigma. Management skills expected are a strategic mindset and business acumen, high personal impact and stakeholder management. You’re a driving force for change management
Language requirements are spoken and written fluent in English, Swedish preferred and German is a bonus.
