Unique opportunity as Junior IT Accountant at Epiroc

We are looking for a solution oriented Junior Accountant with a burning interest for systems, for our client Epiroc - a leading global productivity partner within the mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries. This consultancy offer is a great opportunity for a person that has recently graduated and wants to get experience from a dynamic, multinational and multicultural environment - also at group level within the organization!

This is a temporary position on full time (100%) starting the latest 1st of April 2020, initially until February 2021. It is likely that the position will be extended, or that you will have the opportunity to be employed directly by Epiroc.

You will be employed by Experis and work at Epiroc´s office in Sickla/Nacka, Stockholm.

Your assignments as Junior IT Accountant

The team is mainly based in Stockholm but have team members on global locations and work tightly with the Group Financial Reporting and Control department of Epiroc.

The mission of the so-called Group System Services team is to introduce new requirements as well as secure and improve the overall quality, efficiency and availability of the Epiroc Group Consolidation systems.

The Group Consolidation systems are the key component for the legal and operational reporting of the Epiroc Group.

Your work tasks will include, to:

* support the monthly reporting process ensuring smooth data flow from different systems
* solve various ad hoc issues raised by Epiroc's Customers Centers, Product Companies, colleagues abroad and Epiroc's Group Financial Reporting & Control via virtual Service Desk
* support maintenance of different applications and reports
* train and support customers and colleagues in the different financial systems and tools
* work in close cooperation with development teams responsible for 2nd level support of the reporting applications
* actively participate in global group projects interacting with other project members

You will work some hours scheduled paid overtime since this position include a lot of support time within the global organization.

Your profile

You have a University degree in Finance and Business Administration (or equivalent through experience). You can be newly graduated or have a few years professional experience in reporting with interest in IT, or technical experience with interest and knowledge of financial systems/processes.

You have good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must. We see it as a plus if you have experience/knowledge from:

- Consolidation/planning systems (SAP BPC, Hyperion, Cognos Controller etc.)
- Financial modules
- SAP BPC, BW, SAP ECC, Movex M3 or other ERP systems

Further on you are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.

You are a self-driven, service minded individual with excellent communication & collaboration skills. A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, information and experiences and at the same time have an ability to work independently while managing priorities and meeting deadlines.

You have a pro-active responsibility and take own initiative.

You apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform troubleshooting of problems and possess an ability to conduct research, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

You expand your technical competence and willingness to learn via internal and external training.
