We are looking for an experienced manager for the ThinFilm transistor (TFT) team to be based in Linköping, Sweden. You will manage the TFT development and report to the CTO. The TFT team develops the transistor technology using microelectronic and print processes where various types of electronic materials are used. As the unit manager you will be responsible for taking the high level strategic targets for the TFT development, break it down into tasks for the team and ensure that the team delivers on the targets with respect to quality and time. Except being an exciting management role, the job also involves operational tasks in that we expect you to contribute to problem solving and interface to other teams such as Integration & Assembly and Test. The work at Thinfilm is organized in projects and you will also lead some of these projects.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience from managing a high technology team working with TFT technologies
- Ph D or M Sc in engineering, preferably within the printing, chemistry, nanotechnology or material science areas
- You shall have both a practical and theoretical knowledge about microelectronics processing or printing of functional materials
- Minimum 5 years of industrial experience
- You can deliver on ambitious goals
- You have experience in motivating your team and getting maximum performance from your staff
- You have very good communication skills and are adaptive to changes
