The lnstitute of health and care sciences is a national and international leader in personcentered care, which permeates education, research and innovation. The department is organized in sections in the shape of academic environments which consist of interdisciplinary profile areas: Care for long-term conditions; Life contexts and health-promoting care; Diagnosis and care in acute and critical conditions and Learning and leadership for health professions. The department's administrative staff is organized in an administrative unit. In the academic environments, competence is integrated in order to promote quality in both education, research and collaboration.
The department conducts professional training for nurses, radiology nurses, midwives and specialist nurses. The undergraduate education programmes for nurses and radiology nurses lead to both a professional licence and a bachelor's degree The midwifery program and the specialist nursing program with different specializations lead to vocational degrees and licences as well as a master's degree.
In addition, commissioned training and single subject courses are given at advanced leve!, which provides the opportunity for further studies leading to a master's degree in one of the department's main subjects; nursing, radiography and care pedagogy. The department also conducts education at doctoral leve! in health and care sciences.

Subject area description
he field of radiography includes knowledge on how different imaging methods, such as traditional X-ray examinations, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography are best used to diagnose, perform and follow up treatments.
Duties
The position is placed in the section for Diagnostics, Acute and Critical Care. Tutoring takes place mainly within the Radiography Programme. lf necessary, other tasks may be included in collaboration with other sections at the department.
The tasks include planning, teaching, coordinating resources, working on continuity across the courses, keeping oneself updated with current development within the subject fields as well as being responsible for courses. The mission as a course coordinator includes developing and coordinating learning objectives, activities, forms of examination and assessment criteria in relation to content, purpose and current pedagogical research. It also includes quality assuring the education with validated assessment methods. Further, you will be expected to supervise and examine degree projects on a first cycle level. Administrative duties related to the educational activities will also be included.
In addition, we expect the candidate to actively work on subject development of the main field Radiography. Other activities may be included, and the content of the position may change over time.
The employment includes actively working to achieve the department's objectives and business plan and actively contribute ta the develapment af the sections Complete Academic Environment. In addition, all employees are expected to participate in the planned cammon meetings and activities arganized at the department.
The applicant is expected ta teach in Swedish and English.
Eligibility
Completed at least second cycle studies in nursing or radiography (master's degree). The applicant must have shown pedagogical expertise and hold a Bachelor's degree in Radiography nursing as well as a Swedish licence as a radiographer.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both writing and speaking.
