Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you want to develop further as an environmental consultant in a collaborative climate where innovation, technology and sustainable communities are our common focus?
If you recognize yourself, this role may be something for you. Join our Site Solutions & Health Sciences unit within Environment & Health as our new Mission Manager, and help us in our work towards a sustainable future.

Your new position
As our new experienced consultant colleague, you will be part of our growing business within Environment & Health. In Sweden, we are close to 50 experts in the field and through our global service areas, we operate and coordinate technology to learn from each other and be able to take on the most challenging projects, for example, Ramboll internally organizes network meetings in contaminated areas in Europe and the US. With us, cooperation and team spirit are important and we strive to give each employee the opportunity to develop according to their circumstances and in the areas they wish. Ramboll has a strong external training business run by our employees and which we also use for internal development. We will continue to work with a hybrid solution where we are mostly in the office. However, we now know from experience that we sometimes prefer to work at home and then you should feel that it is possible too.

Your main responsibilities include:
Assignment management - dialogue with our customers, authorities and other stakeholders
Lead, control and develop assignments in contaminated areas. Projects can include elements such as soil and groundwater surveys, risk assessments, remedial investigations and remediation projects.
Develop relationships with new and existing partners
The projects include elements of PFAS, development issues, real estate and corporate transactions (environmental due diligence), main studies, sediments, etc.

About you
When you become part of Ramboll, we will do our best to support you in your personal and professional development. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

At least 5 years of experience in investigations and measures in contaminated areas, e.g. as a consultant, contractor, client or from an environmental authority
A genuine interest in environmental and sustainability issues
A communicative ability and express yourself well in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English
Relevant university education as a civil engineer, environmental scientist, natural scientist or equivalent
B driving licence
Interest in networking within and outside Ramboll and in building and maintaining professional relationships
We consider it a merit if you have experience of fuel stations, chlorinated hydrocarbons, PFAS, in situ remediation, risk assessments and main studies
It is an advantage if you have experience of integrating ecological solutions into your soil environment projects as we at Ramboll work actively to implement sustainability in our projects

What we can offer you
Development opportunities where your driving forces and motivation are controlling
Secure leaders in a values-driven company with the employee in focus
An inclusive work environment where different experiences and perspectives are valued
An international knowledge environment with experience from 35 countries
Long-term goals in a foundation-owned company that invests in its employees as well as in research and humanitarian efforts around the world
