Upstream Process Tech Transfer Lead

We are now looking for new colleagues who want to work together with us and develop themselves as a consultant in our wonderful Life Science team in the greater Stockholm-Uppsala area!

 

As a Life Science consultant in ALTEN, you work with different interesting customers that we support in the Pharmaceutical Industry. We aim to make a difference for our clients as well as their end users, the patients! Our clients and colleagues are located in Stockholm, Uppsala, Södertälje and Strängnäs.

 

You will support our customers in different areas, depending on your experience and interest, for example: process, quality, validation, QC, method development and project management.

 

As a person, it is important that you are flexible, driven, accurate, efficient, helpful, and structured while being social and a team player. You must be able to plan, prioritize and perform your tasks independently and in a solution-oriented way.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Hands on cell culture experience with stirred tank bioreactors (Stainless or single use)
• Cell culture tech transfer and/or development experience
• Hands on experience from large-scale bioprocessing laboratory
• Fundamental understanding of upstream unit operations such as mixing, bioreactor, and filtration.
• Working knowledge of the scale-up/scale-down principles of cell culture or fermentation processes
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing principles and documentation
• Skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Skilled in effectively explaining complex scientific or engineering concepts to a broad and diverse cross-functional audience.
• Experience with data and statistical analysis
• Proven experience in preparing detailed and thorough technical protocols and reports
• Knowledge of the drug development process, global regulations, process validation and ICH guidelines

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (Education and Experience)
At least Bachelor degree in a relevant science/technical field; e.g. Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering
At least 3 years of experience as in the LifeScience industry
Experience of cell cultivation of following cell lines: HEK, CHO and/or E. coli
Ability to demonstrate knowledge in GxP and/or ISO standards
Ability to work independently under your own initiative
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in Swedish and English in both written and speech
