WHAT CHALLENGE DO WE OFFER?
As an Uptime Services Product Planner, you will be responsible to give customer and business value input to the Roadmaps within the area of primarily Aftermarket Technology.
You will drive the agenda for Uptime Services and define the product plan for continuously enhanced and broadened uptime services offering.
You will initiate and lead strategic studies, perform market analyses, network with universities, have close contact with Volvo Group truck brand representatives and give strategic directions to the development organization. You will interact with different parts of the organization, meaning working with Aftermarket Technology, Volvo Group Design, Engineering, Connected Solutions and more. You will initiate user/customer analyses.
You will create events in the product plan which describe the wanted customer experience from a product/services update. You will create prerequisites for the events. You will take an active part in technology work streams and give directional support to clarify the wanted customer experience from product updates with a multi brand view.
You will take part of balancing- and follow up of product updates within the product plan.
You will be an important part of the journey to transform Volvo Group into an outstanding service provider entailing that you will participate in defining ways of working with services together with our colleagues from both Business Areas and engineering organizations.

Uptime Services is a truly cross-functional and cross-organizational area where it is important that you are comfortable handling a big network, spanning over the complete Volvo Group both in terms of Business Areas and development organizations.
You enjoy cooperation on all levels, within product development organization, with Volvo Group truck brands; Volvo, Renault, Mack, Volvo Truck North America, other Business Units and with external development centers such as universities to mention some. You have:
Experience of strategy development.
Minimum 8 years of truck industry experience.
A business mindset
KNOWLEDGE WITHIN
Aftermarket business
Services development
Maintenance planning and execution, Predictive Maintenance
Diagnostics & Repair
Software download and vehicle configuration
You have a high level understanding of software development and agile principles.
Knowledge or interest in the principles of Service Design
You have a high proficiency in technical and business English, and you have a MSc or BSc degree in Soft Ware Engineering/Development, Service Design, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or corresponding
You have good communication and presentation skills and is open minded, visionary and curious
