We are looking for a User Experience Designer with great interest in industrial design and technology. You will, as part of a team, be responsible for continuously deliver superior customer value to the market through new products and services.
The Purification & Analysis R&D department is responsible for research and development of hardware, software and consumables for Biacore systems, which are used by scientists within drug development and academic research.
The mission of R&D is to provide a steady stream of new products to meet and solve the challenges of our customers. Software is an essential part of our product offering hence there are a strong focus on digital solutions and offerings. You will work in a multidisciplinary surrounding closely with software engineers and application specialists. The work is conducted in an Agile way in dedicated Scrum teams with a strong focus on user experience, reliability and quality.
In this role you will:
• As part of a team, plan and deliver the team´s commitments
• Work with stakeholders to understand the specific business targets behind the user-system interaction
• Lead the UX efforts by working closely with the different development teams and system architects
• Create UX design specifications for development teams and continuously validate user experience
• Share UX guidelines across the programs
• Present, both orally and in writing, results and conclusions from studies performed
• Continuously improve our ways of working
Deliver new product to the market and our customers will be your main focus.
Requirements:
• MSc or BSc degree with relevant UX design focus
• Significant years' of experience as UX Designer within product development
• Experience in user centered design process and user research
• Design of wireframes and clickable prototypes in HTML5
• Knowledge and experience of project models and methodology, preferably Agile and SAFe
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken)
• Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
• Swedish and English as working languages

• Experience of working with TDD and BDD
