User Experience Designer (UxD)

Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking for a User Experience Designer (UxD) responsible for Ux design in various projects. Our team of 15 people is developing products, bioreactors, mixers and other related equipment, used for manufacturing of biological medical products. The position is permanent.

Essential Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to understand the specific business targets behind the user-system interaction
Provide Agile teams with the next increment of UI design, UX guidelines, and design elements in a just-in-time, (but timely enough) fashion
Continually validate user experience via user experience testing
Work with System Architects and teams to build and maintain the technical foundation for real-time UX validation, feedback, tracking statistics etc.
Share UX guidelines across the program; educate engineers on the best practices of maintaining good UI design
Assist test engineers and the System Team in UX testing
Lead UI design workshops and UX/UI Community of Practice
Attend sprint planning, backlog refinement and PI and System Demos whenever critical Ux-related work is involved

Qualifications/Requirements

BSc degree with relevant UxD focus or equivalent experience
Minimum some years' experience as Ux Designer
English and Swedish (written and spoken)
Willing to travel internationally to support UX design activities at global design centers
