Duties
The Department of Earth Sciences is looking for a number of educational assistants for intermittent employment (hourly employment). The Department of Earth Sciences will move to Gothenburg University's new building "Natrium". Moving arrangements will most likely be a large part of the duties. The work may also include help with laboratory tasks in courses geology, geosciences and geography. Participation in research as support for some researchers may also be possible.
Qualifications
We are looking for students within our own Department of Earth Sciences (primarily).
Applicants must have completed one of these courses GV1410 or GE0400 or GV0401 or GE5000. Additional requirements may be requested depending on work tasks.
For tasks within teaching, the following is desired: good knowledge of Swedish at level C1 and English and good computer skills. You can easily familiarize with specific problems and can come up with a solution that you can convey to the student. Previous experience in supervision is meritorious.
Previous work experience as a student ambassador is advantageous.
Employment
The employment is an intermittent employment, which means varying hours as needed during the period April 2023 to October 2023. Placement at the department of Earth Sciences. Your official job title at the University will be assistant.
