Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you ready to work at Sweden's outstanding digital product & service company?
Why not join a workplace that gives you freedom, inspiration, incredible colleagues and a chance to work the way you want with projects you'll love.
Maybe you saw (https://medium.com/wearehumblebee/product-development-at-humblebee-5a63b18a78cd) and thought it sounded exactly like the place you'd like to spend your days?
What we’re looking for:
Our team of Bees have been growing and we’re looking for a new User Experience Design Lead to join our team. You will be working closely with our UX Design Director Daniel Sköld (https://www.linkedin.com/in/skolddaniel/) in managing the UX design team at Humblebee.
We’re looking for a UX Designer with 4-6 years UX experience. You can ideate, prototype, iterate and validate all the way from early concept to MVP and beyond. You’ve got your UX Design toolbox and you know how to help teams build great products.
As this is a lead role we expect you to have experience leading teams and people. You understand team dynamics and know how to build effective teams. You enjoy helping people grow and reach their goals.
What we expect from you:
As a UX Design Lead at Humblebee you will be people manager for a team of designers. This means you will be conducting salary and performance reviews, as well as driving team performance by coaching and supporting our UX team. In this role you will play a key part in hiring and resource allocation for the team.
In addition to managing the team, all our leads are also work hands-on with client assignments as part of a cross functional product team. Most of the time that means responsibility for setting the UX Design and/or managing a cross-functional product team.
We think that the split between hands-on project stuff and managerial fiddling will be about 50/50, but you will of course have a lot of freedom in how you want to shape the role. Imagine this, it’s a Monday and you are leading your team’s daily standup. After that you’re preparing a design workshop until lunch. In the afternoon you’re interviewing a candidate for a UX role and then you have 1on1’s with two of your UX design team members. It’s this type of mix that we think you will enjoy.
You are as important as your skills
We employ people as much for their human traits as their competence and skill sets. We like good humans around us. We work in a collaborative environment (design sprints, development sprints, workshops with clients etc) and therefore we employ people who are empathetic, kind, patient and gracious. We are Humblebee.
