Introduction

A fantastic opportunity now available for a UX Design Project Lead who wants to work with UX designers, keep track of the projects and its deliveries, working closely with the rest of the Design organization and R&D to find the best UX solutions for Car-Core.

This position is based in Gothenburg. English speaking environment. For this role we can only consider candidates that are currently based in Sweden or who are Swedish, Nordic or EU citizens.

Job brief

The focus of the position is to keep track of the UX content both physical, Illumination and the digital UI content for projects which our client is developing together with another party. If you have a background in leading digital UI development, especially in the automotive industry, then this will give you a great advantage.

You need to have the ability to drive design issues within both the design organization and R&D organization and within the decided time/logical plan.

This is not a designer role but you must have a good understanding of UX design.

Profile

Since both the way of working and the definition of the position is under development you need to have an open and flexible mind. We would also like to see that you have documented management and communication skills. It would also be great if you have lead creative people before.

Our client is using the SAFe framework and you need to understand this set-up and how our client is working with their projects within the framework. You don’t need to have a UX education as background, but would need to have an understanding of what UX, UI and what a user journey is.

Required skills & experience

- English language proficiency
- Documented experience within User experience development in the automotive industry.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of UX Design maturity process.
- Ability to understand, explain, drive and realize the Design intentions in a project.
- Ability, together with UX lead, lead the creative and operational project team.
- Ability to drive, guide and balance the creative design intentions with technical prerequisites.
- Documented management & communication skills
- Experience in time planning/ resources/ budget work
- Knowledge in the product development process VPDS
- Microsoft Office package
