Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for an expert user-experience (UX) designer to work within business area Networks and focus on the latest innovation in Ericsson Radio System.
This position requires a person with extensive experience in understanding our business requirements and any technical limitations and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes. The UX designer will also be encouraged to craft the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure an outstanding user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing!
You will
Share a passion for the value of UX and Human-centered design across various user interfaces by working with an interdisciplinary team.
To achieve higher quality, lower costs, and shorter time to release, keep up-to-date with UX processes, tools and standard methodologies.
Engage in all phases of product development and implementation with engineers, business stakeholders, and product managers.
Produce materials that help the team understand the recommendations, storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, concept, and prototype designs, etc.
Design and refine interactions based on the best prototyping options and user testing, including synthesis and incorporation of feedback.
Use the accurate component from the Ericsson design system library for appropriate features and consistent user experience.
Work with developers to understand the opportunities and limitations of the technology that will be used to express the design solution, document requirements, and explain the expectations around an interaction.
Support your teammates' growth by participating in UX meetings and collaborative design reviews.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in an UX-related field of study or equivalent experience.
A minimum of five years' experience in UX design (information architecture, interaction design and visual design).
Flexibility in working both independently and collaboratively
The ability to independently research and resolve issues using appropriate resources.
Strong visual design skills and a keen sense of effective UI.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Extensive experience crafting user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, user interface designs and high-quality final visual comps.
Experience conducting usability tests.
Having delivered designs to engineering teams and proven track record of presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior management.
Excellent experience in coordinating development, status, and delivery of projects using project management skills and tools.
Efficiencies with Sketch or Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools, and diagramming tools.
Additional Requirement:
Portfolios of UX design work that demonstrate your ability to produce solutions and digital experience that strengthen the relationship between the product and its users. We will accept applications until April 10th.
