Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you want to work with an app loved by millions of kids around the world?

That’s the reality for everyone working on Toca Life World. Creating an app that encourages kids’ creativity and imagination results in lots of content all over social media, and instant confirmation of what you create sparks joy in kids’ lives.

As a UX Designer here at Toca you’ll have the opportunity to impact both how we work with user experience (defining both process and project needs) but also participate hands-on in improving the world's best kids app.

You’ll make sure that Toca Life World is an understandable and user-friendly experience for both kids and their grown-ups, as well as maintain an overarching UX vision and strategy for the app.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work on improving Toca Life World’s user journey - optimizing flows and setting up a solid UX-foundation for future enhancements and system improvements. You’ll conduct ongoing UX audits of the experience, identifying and prioritizing areas that need working on.

You’ll participate in the design and execution of user research projects involving young players & their grown-ups, in collaboration with our User Researchers.

You’ll work together with various teams creating new content, improving the user journey and optimizing the in-app shop. You’ll make sure that the user experience stays consistent in all of Toca Life World
Is this you?
You are a UX Designer with experience both from working with games and touch screens. Either you have worked with mobile games, or games and mobile apps. You know how to make playable prototypes and have an understanding for games as a service.

You have experience with in-app/game shops and are vigilant when it comes to identifying dark patterns. You have an understanding for monetization, but you don’t have to be an expert.

You’re an advocate for the player experience and driving features forward. You are open to feedback and the perspective of others and love to collaborate with various people, and roles, in your team. Of course you also deliver your own feedback in a constructive and friendly manner.

What we’ll be looking for in your portfolio

Case studies of game and mobile app projects you've worked on, with clear take outs of the things you have specifically contributed with.

-
Your skill in creating user journeys and design flows

-
Sketches, wireframes and mockups to show off your process
