UX Designer
 Are you an experienced UX Designer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive mobile and web apps that can be used by thousands of people worldwide? If so, Epiroc is looking for you!
 As a UX Designer at Epiroc, you'll be working in a DevOps team responsible for designing and delivering exceptional customer-facing solutions for the mining, construction, quarrying, and other industries. You'll work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other members of the design and development teams to ensure that our solutions are easy to use and provide the best possible experience for our customers.

Your mission
Your primary mission will be to gather end-user requirements, develop user journeys, wireframes, and mockups, design graphic elements, and build UX design components for developers to implement. 
You'll work collaboratively with portfolio delivery teams, designers, and frontend developers, taking the lead on what the design team develops and delivers with customer happiness as the primary success criterion.
Your role
You'll work proactively to find better ways of doing things and ensure that the quality of the final product meets and exceeds our standards.
You'll evaluate existing interface flows, suggest improvements, and create UI mockups and prototypes that illustrate how our product functions and how it should look aesthetically. 
You'll also create original graphic designs using Figma and other relevant tools.
In addition to contributing to design development throughout the entire lifecycle, you'll always act as a leader and lead others by example.
You'll analyze user behavior and UI performance through data and user feedback to drive design decisions, prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders, and contribute fresh ideas that are infused in our culture and products.

Your profile
University degree in relevant field or similar through at least 5 years of experience.
Strong command in English.
A strong working knowledge of interaction design, design thinking, user-centered experience design, brand identity management, digital marketing and the creative process.
Updated portfolio of design projects to showcase your level of competence and expertise.
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, Zeplin and prototyping/wireframing.

In-depth familiarity with the latest trends in user experience.
Well organized with a good structure and ability to work independent as well as in teams.
Previous experience from working in agile DevOps teams is a bonus.
Previous experience from working with Storybook is a bonus.
Ability to succeed in an extremely fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization.

Location and travel
This position is based in Örebro (Sweden) and we expect you to travel to customer if needed.
