UX Designer

ECARX is an automotive intelligence technology company, focusing on car computing platform intelligence and mobility intelligence. Our core products include self-developed vehicle chipsets, connected intelligent cockpits, intelligent driving, HD map, big data and IoV cloud products. We make sure every end-user enjoys a smart and safe mobility experience by our product offering.

Product team is responsible for the ECARX Automotive Service, including Navigation/Multimedia-streaming/AI assistant/Member center/App store with 3rd party app eco-system and infotainment systems.

The Role

We are looking for a UX Designer to join our product team for the complete product user experience including user interaction of the digital cockpit. You will collaborate with a global team and in close cooperation with the development teams.

What you will be doing

- Creation and development of user experience through interaction specification and graphic design (2D and 3D) for our infotainment systems including all in-vehicle screens and other areas user interact with e.g. mobile app
- The UX team will be responsible for both high level UX and visual design concept and low-level detailed design to bring a great user experience of each generation of digital cockpit products
- Together with your team you will be responsible for the entire process, from user research to prototype development in a cross-functional setup
- You will also be part of market research to explore innovative ways of expanding UX for innovative products through continuous iteration
- You will collaborate with our China UX team and customer UX team during the entire project phase


Who we think you are

- Professional education in UX, HMI, graphics design or similar
- You have extensive professional experience of UX design preferably within embedded system development (infotainment system in the car or mobile phone)
- Relevant working experience within UX and HMI areas and/or front-end programming
- Experience of GUI development and prototyping is an advantage
- Experience within automotive is an advantage
- Knowledge of Sketch, Figma and Kanzi
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
