UX-designer for global company in Gothenburg!

THE POSITION:

Our client has an own platform which enables users and clients to exchange services and among other things make payments. They offer their clients great web and mobile experiences. In general, you will be responsible for designing UI in the context of complete design flows. Since clients can make specific demands, that sometimes range outside of current platform usability, you have to be able to design completely new flows that still work well with the rest of the platform. This demands prior experience within the field where you also have been involved in product releases.

You will be working independently with a global team that includes product owners, engineers, product specialist and marketing. The main focus is creating intuitive and easy to use solutions without compromising quality. It is of importance that you have high communiaction skills combined with both strong research and design ability.

Main responsibilities:

Understand customers and their needs through relevant research techniques to build complete user-centered design solutionsUse business requirements, user and market research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level design requirementsUse design tools to deliver concepts, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes in order to fulfil customer needs that sometimes require completely new flows

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Background in UX/UI2+ years of relevant work experience in user research and interface designDesign experience at a B2B organization or with enterprise software across multiple platformsFluent in best practices and practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability principlesFluent in English

To succeed we expect you to have experience from working in collaborative teams consisting of different stakeholders where communication, adaptation and curiosity is key. Ability to provide and solicit feedback is also of great importance along with a problem-solving mindset.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The initial assignment period is set to 3-6 months with the possibility of an extension during next year.
