Arbetsbeskrivning
This isn't a conventional car company. We're a new global brand that focuses on the need of the connected generation, sustainability, and a hassle-free customer experience.
We’re a large-scale version of a start-up company, but with the backing of our owners. We’re all working towards the same goal of a more shareable world, an excellent mobility experience, and a truly customer-centric business.
UX Designer - Web
About the role
We are looking for UX designers to join our digital team. This particular position is focused on the global and local websites. The UX designer will create a top-of-the-line customer experience on the web, as well as aligning our customer journey across our other channels. Our customer journey is fully online, which means we're side-by-side with the customer every step of the way: from their first encounter with the brand to becoming a member (and beyond!). We're here to support them, engage them, and adapt to their ever-changing needs. We’re currently active in seven European core markets and the website is our main sales channel.
The digital team is a very collaborative and diverse team, making sure the various touchpoints are aligned and putting the customer in focus. We’re a fast-moving, open-minded team, and it’s important to be prepared for a start-up environment with plenty of problems to solve. We work both in separate outlined projects and in ongoing development sprints.
We're in an exciting phase of our journey as a company, and there are many opportunities to create new features, functionalities, and out-of-the-box solutions. We're always looking to improve as a team - as well as finding new ways of working and design processes.
Please note that we have two identical job postings out, one for Gothenburg and one for Amsterdam. Make sure to apply to the one with the location you want to work in.
What you'll do
- Work in collaboration with the UX/UI lead, UI-designer, product owners, business owners and project managers to translate the business requirements into high-level customer journeys as well as detailed UX design
- Understand and support the company vision and values and help translate them into the design work
- Identify opportunities to improve existing UX based on your experience and expertise, propose a UX design and be able to communicate/present this well to key stakeholders
- Be part of the dialogue with the development team from an early stage to delivery and maintenance, to ensure that the design matches the technical solutions and that the design handover is on a level that helps the developers work effectively
We think you have..
- 3-5 years of work experience as a UX designer
- Experience in conversion within e-commerce, sales driven UX and best practices for both web and e-commerce
- Experience working with international/multi-cultural brands as well as market adaptations and localization
- Experience working in a flexible and moving start-up environment with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Experience with Figma and using/improving design systems
What we offer
Sure, we have all the basics in place like pension and insurances, wellness allowance, and flexibility in where and when you work. But that's not the reason you choose us… You want to work with us because you will:
- Be part of a global and diverse team, with teammates from over 26 countries and a 50/50 gender split
- Be part of a fun work culture with high team spirit. People really enjoy their teams and get along well with their teammates. There’s a running club if you’re into that sort of thing, Mario Kart tournaments, lunch dance sessions, after work get together etc.
- Be part of creating something new that has never been done before. The pace is fast and it is never boring!
- Get the best of both worlds: a start-up atmosphere with the support of an established organization
- Make a difference. We're a lean team with a flat hierarchy, so every contribution has a direct impact
Working for Lynk & Co
We're not into strict hierarchy, but we do like collaboration, creativity, and people who challenge norms. We've cultivated a culture of personal development and role growth. If you're an original thinker who values being open, personal, and challenging, then you'll fit right in. In general, we think that imagination is just as important as expertise, and instinct can be as valuable as experience.
Sounds good? Well, then we want to hear from you.
Our recruitment process
We work with a competence based framework. You apply by submitting your LinkedIn-profile or CV written in English and answering a few questions.
We also want you to share your portfolio with us.
Our selection will primarily look at acquired competencies and skills.
We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible. We will do ongoing selection of candidates during the application period, so don't hesitate to submit your application if you're interested.
