So what are we actually doing?
As an agile organization in maintenance, contracted services, and warranty, we are developing after-sales applications, supporting all Scania Busses and trucks. In our cross-functional teams, we are passionate about building innovative and competitive products, and continuous improvements. One of our ongoing projects where you as a UX engineer will be involved in our new system for handling Warranty claims at Scania. According to our strategy with cloud journey at Scania, the new system is built in AWS using Java. The aim is to get a much more flexible system and create a user-centric product. We are at the beginning of the project and have just released our MVP1, so here you as UX will have a great opportunity to help us make it right from the beginning.
Who are you?
• Create human-centric experiences for a variety of services and visualize the requirement by working with an interdisciplinary team
• Have a passion for building solutions that makes the customer’s life easier and better
• Love challenges and building sustainable, high-quality solutions together with development teams
• Collaborate, participate and lead sessions with technical stakeholders and users (both internal and external) by basing the work on the design thinking process
• Perform interviews and investigations with users to uncover insights and turn that into design ideas
• Hands-on experience in prototyping and visualization
• Work with UX designers, development team, product owners to address the right problems and build the right user experience
• Degree (bachelor's or higher) in Interaction Design, Service Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or related field
• Ability to work independently on projects takes ownership, and curious to learn
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Know current design tools and practices
