UX Writer

We are looking for a UX Writer who is interested in working with content design in our brilliant product development team. In this role, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process – from brainstorming the next big feature to writing and managing microcopy.

About the role

As a UX Writer, you will guide and help our users through text in the best way possible. This includes writing confirmation messages, information texts, headings, buttons and error messages that together create clear flows and a pleasant journey for our user. Always keeping our brand and target group in mind, you simply know the art of writing guidance without becoming too technical.

In the product development area, we work in platform independent teams where each team has all the necessary skill sets to take full ownership over its value chain. This means that you will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Product Designers and a fellow UX Writer to explore, innovate and develop new and exciting features together. At Once Upon we work with a flexible and iterative approach, so instead of always aiming for perfection, we test our best hypothesis and let the data guide us in the right direction.

What you’ll do:

Create and maintain copy on our web and in our app using our localization platform.

Write copy for related channels such as the App Store and Google Play.

Coordinate translations into over 10 languages.

Collaborate with other Copywriters at Once Upon around best practices and tone of voice.

Use data and research to evaluate and improve content.


Your background

-
Higher degree education in writing or other relevant subjects.

-
Preferably, you have a couple of years of experience in a similar role or in UX with writing as your expertise.

Experience from working in an agile environment.

-
Previous experience from working with localization of texts to other languages and cultures.

Excellent Swedish and English writing skills.

Our headquarters are located in Skellefteå, in the North of Sweden. We also have colleagues working from our offices in Piteå, Örnsköldsvik and Stockholm. And we are super remote friendly, so don't hesitate to apply even if we don't have a hub in your town yet!
