Our team at HVD Group is seeking a UX/UI Designer to play a pivotal role in our design process. If you're passionate about crafting seamless user experiences and have a knack for creating functional, efficient, and user-centric designs, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. This will be our first-ever designer position, offering an exciting chance to be a pioneer and help shape the future of our design team.
What you will do:
As a UX/UI Designer at HVD Group, you'll play a critical role in our design process, and take the lead of our user experience (& interface if you want) for all of our products within the group (Entré, Ordrestyring, KlarPris). Your role will also involve collaborating closely with product owners and developers, ensuring that user perspectives are integrated into our design decisions. You’ll work in an international environment (Nordic and Germany, and soon more countries in Europe as we are conquering the European market). Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, workshops and usability testing to gather valuable insights and improve our products.
- Developing and refining user flows, and design guidelines.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Implement user-centered design principles and best practices to ensure intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Work on a diverse range of projects, from enhancing existing products to developing new, innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design processes.
As you will enter HVD Group as our first UX/UI Designer, you'll have the opportunity to shape and expand the role's responsibilities, with a 'the sky is the limit' mindset.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strategic thinking and initiative-taking skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Strong knowledge of usability testing and user research methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Fluency in English, and ideally, a Nordic language or German, both in written and verbal communication.
If you're passionate about creating engaging, user-friendly digital experiences and are up for the challenge of driving change, we want to hear from you. Join our journey and help shape the future of HVD Group.
