Arbetsbeskrivning
We are on a mission to become the leading force within property management and residential services. And we are looking for likeminded people to join us on this journey.
Several leading companies joined forces to form Odevo and have in less than three years grown the business more than tenfold to become a leading international player, managing more than 500 000 homes. Our ambition is to continue to grow at the same pace both organically and by attracting additional companies to join us both in Europe and on other continents.
Residential real estate is the world’s largest asset class and buying a home is often the biggest investment a person will make, but the residential property management industry is lagging behind when it comes to customer focus and digitalization. That’s why we formed Odevo.
Our software is custom-made to simplify living and to make life easier for property owners, residents and property managers. We make difficult things easy to understand and automate time-consuming tasks so people can spend more time on things that they enjoy.
Even though we are big, for us it’s all about being outstanding. We aspire to break new ground through innovation and cultivate a workplace where we can grow as individuals and have fun achieving great things together.
To continue our ambitious growth journey, we are looking for more great people to join us. Are you one of them?
About the role
As we continue our international expansion and use our technical platform to challenge and drive development and digitalisation across markets, Odevo is looking for a committed and goal-oriented UX/UI Designer to drive development and growth.
Our product development department acts as a SaaS supplier to all of the companies in the Odevo group and several other players in the industry. The department consists of about 35+ people in Stockholm and London. We work in project form in cross-functional teams, close to where decisions are made.
The role is broad and covers everything from needs analysis to visualization, development, and follow-up. This is therefore a role for those who like to design solutions from concept to finished product, visually and functionally.
Our end users include our internal experts and our customers, who are largely board members of tenant-owner associations. You will be the one who understands them both best, and you’ll share your insights with the entire development team. There will be great opportunities to shape the role and initiate your own improvement projects.
You will
- Lead the feasibility study and project’s conceptualisation phase.
- Develop prototypes and wireframes, and work with both mature products and improvement areas, but also initiate completely new products.
- Be involved in building the processes we need in UX to create the best user experience.
- If you have the interest and the knowledge, you will develop reusable components in Angular.
Who you are
You find it exciting to join a product company under growth and would like to be part of a journey where you can make a big impression.
You are social, interact easily with people, and are curious about human behavior. You are empathetic and a good listener. You are a problem solver who can easily see and weave together different perspectives, from users, technology and business.
You feel comfortable taking on a leading role in developing the UX/UI thinking in the organization. We appreciate that you are not concerned with prestige and enjoy working in a growing business where you are required to take initiatives and implement your own ideas.
Experience
- At least three years professional experience as a UX/UI designer.
- You ideally have had a leading UX role.
- Experience with either Figma or Adobe.
- Relevant education and knowledge in HTML / CSS, Javascript (Angular)
- Bonus points if you have experience from a homeowner’s association board (bostadsrättsförening).
- Bonus points if you have worked in PropTech or FinTech before.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
Location
While we have an office in Stockholm, it is a fully remote position if that suits you best. Our office is on the top floor in the newly built Sthlm 04, which offers stunning views over Stockholm.
