UX/UI Designer for a gaming company in Stockholm(hybrid)

As a UX/UI Designer for the internal tools team, you'll collaborate closely with the game developers to grasp their needs and overcome challenges. Partnering with the tools developers, you'll translate these challenges into effective solutions, ensuring our tools are user-friendly. Figma serves as the primary design tool for mock-ups, prototypes, and handovers.

You'll also join our Design team, contributing to projects and maintaining design alignment across the company. The team meets regularly to share progress, provide feedback, and foster a transparent and inclusive workflow for mutual learning and alignment.

What you will be doing
• Driving UX and UI initiatives for our internal tools team, spanning both large and small projects.
• Consolidate input to gain a comprehensive understanding of our game developers', designers', artists', sound designers', QA team's needs, and challenges.
• Collaborating with the team and its users to design tooling features and products, enhancing our colleagues' workflows.
• Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, especially gameplay teams, to comprehend their objectives, priorities, and obstacles. You'll cultivate a network to facilitate cross-team communication and issue resolution.
• Conducting user research to validate your designs and hypotheses.

About you
• Experienced UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Capable of spearheading design initiatives from concept to finalization.
• Possessing a profound grasp of the design process, including the roles of qualitative and quantitative data.
• Skilled in collaboration with developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
