We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UX Designer and Researcher to join our team and help us create the best products for our customers. If you want to work in a cross-functional development team, focusing on the user interface and user experience, then this could be the role for you!
The role
One of Telia Finances core product it our Credit Account that offers a flexible credit facility to the customers who buy Telia products. In the role as a UX/UI developer and researcher at Telia Finance you will work with our B2C products, where we have our in-house developed Checkout and Customer portal.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences through user-centered design principles and in-depth user research. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products and services are intuitive, engaging, and meet user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research:
Plan, conduct, and analyze user research to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
Create and maintain user personas, user journey maps, and usability reports.
Identify opportunities for improvements based on user feedback and data analysis.
UX Design:
Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design concepts
Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
Usability Testing:
Plan and execute usability testing sessions to evaluate product usability and identify areas for enhancement
Synthesize findings from usability tests and recommend design improvements
Information Architecture:
Create and maintain information architecture that enhances content organization and navigation
Ensure content and features are logically structured for optimal user engagement.
Interaction Design:
Define and document user interactions, workflows, and micro-interactions
Optimize user interfaces for various devices and platforms, including mobile and desktop
Accessibility and Inclusivity:
Advocate for and implement accessibility best practices (e.g., WCAG) to ensure products are usable by all users, including those with disabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals
Communicate design decisions effectively and present research findings to team members
Continuous Learning:
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and research
Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Is this you?
Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer science or any such related field
Proven experience as a UX Designer and Researcher, including a portfolio showcasing a range of projects
Proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
Experience with user research techniques, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis
Knowledge of web and mobile design standards, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines
Excellent communication and collaboration skill in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities
Experience with Payments and Telecom is considered a plus
Familiarity with front-end development technologies is a plus.
