UX/UI Designer - Strategy Lead

We're looking for someone experienced with UX and UI design, and interested in growing into a leadership position. In this role, you'll be involved in everything from meeting new potential clients, to helping current clients define what's needed for future development, to working alongside developers to produce best-in-breed experiences.
If you're the right person for this job, then you already have a lot of experience and want to continue to learn and grow along with the rest of us. You enjoy brainstorming strategic visions to help clients build their systems sustainably months and years into the future, delving into the smallest details of building the perfect UI and collaborating with colleagues with diverse skill sets to create amazing mobile apps.
You're also probably comfortable in facilitating workshops where we help define what clients need and are curious about exploring new approaches and honing your skills with every new project we do.
We think you're someone with a commercial mindset, ready to discuss strategy about clients' businesses as well as our own business. You have an established network in the market, and you're not shy about reaching out to former colleagues and business associates to see if Shortcut can find more ways to help even more customers through the use of your skills as well as those of your Shortcut colleagues.
At Shortcut we don't have strict hierarchies, but we do expect that the more experienced team members go out of their way to help those with less experience. The person who takes on this role can look forward to helping us grow our design team in the future, as well as eventually leading their team to new heights and creating engaging and empowering mobile experiences. You’ll play a key role in continuously refining how UX and UI design is done at Shortcut Sweden.
Must-haves:
10+ years of experience with some combination of UX and UI design
Concrete experience in building mobile apps
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in both English and Swedish
EU citizen, or already permitted to live and work in Sweden in some other way
