Arbetsbeskrivning
The Embassy has a vacancy for a person to manage the financial and administrative operations that involves overseeing financial records, preparing budgets and reports, and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Main duties:
. Sound financial management
. Preparation of monthly expenditure reports and closing of monthly Mission accounts
. Manage budget and financial support services
. Bookkeeping (vouchers, payments, scanning and filing) for audit purposes
. Assist management with the yearly Mission Action Plan, annual estimates for the budget exercises and mid-term review
. Office administration (HR support services, salaries, leave management, VAT reconciliation, contract management, quotations for services and update database of service providers)
. Oversee mission's bi-annual asset verification process and update asset files
. Dealing with Swedish authorities (Försäkringskassan, Skatteverket, etc)
. Customer services and staff co-ordination
Requirements:
. Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE in a relevant position.
. B. Com accounting degree or equivalent financial degree.
. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office computer programmes: Word, Excel, and Outlook).
. Experience in Financial Accounting: 2 years (Required).
. Experience in Financial Reporting: 2 years (Required).
. Be able to handle essential fiscal and operational responsibilities, accounting skills, maintain accurate records, produce reporting, reconcile statements, and manage procedures.
. Experience to manage administrative and HR responsibilities to enable smooth financial and organisational operations.
. Be deadline driven and able to comply with short deadlines.
. Be able to solve problems and find solutions, is self-motivated, resilient, and self-reliant.
. Possess a positive and flexible attitude, good organizational capability; dedication to service quality; committed and prepared to take on additional duties where appropriate, having the ability to handle stressful situations.
. Be a team player and maintain good working relationships with other staff.
. Demonstrates the Embassy's core values i.e. Integrity, Respect and Collaboration.
. 100% Fluency in Swedish and English is non-negotiable.
. South African nationals living in Sweden may apply.
. Non-Swedish nationals need to have a valid permanent residency permit.
. A valid police report with no criminal record.
. Prior experience working in an Embassy will be an advantage.
Salary Package:
Starts from SEK 326 528 SEK per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) An annual bonus equal to one month's salary, holiday pay at 0.43% of the annual salary, pension and life insurance benefits will also be payable.
