More than 120 airlines over the world are currently using our products and services. We are looking for a person to fill a vacancy in the Rodos Flight Planning team in Stockholm. Main tasks: RODOS is a flight planning system used by commercial airlines worldwide. The name RODOS is short for Route Documentation System. The system is a tool for the operators to find the most favourable route to fly and to provide all the essential data to be able to perform safe and accurate flights. The daily work consists of updating worldwide navigation data in databases. As a base you use published AIP documentation from each Country, rules and restrictions approved for the airspace and Company specific requests. I addition to the AIP there are a large number of different information sources that are consulted and monitored. In addition to this we are also working with customer support, testing and improving our systems, customer training, discussing flight- planning issues with authorities and organizations. The work can be stressful as we are constantly working towards deadlines. Background & skills: Background as a flight dispatcher and/or experience from aircraft performance is an advantage. You should have: .Knowledge and interest in aviation .Good English skills, both verbal and written .Knowledge in RODOS or other flight planning systems .C/D-theory is qualifying .Computer literacy Character: You should enjoy working in a team, be responsible, analytical and target driven.
