On behalf of Swedbank, Academic Work is looking for a Valuation Control Development Quant to join one of teams working with valuation control. This is primarily a temporary position for 6 months starting immediately with good chances of an direct recruitment.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
- Being part of building and setting up the theoretical and technical environment that is used to ensure Valuation Control
- Work across all asset classes within Swedbank’s Trading and Treasury functions globally
- Gain a holistic view of the fair value process, from trade execution to regulatory reporting
- Collaborate closely with Front Office functions, such as Trading Quants and Valuation Engineers and Group Risk functions, such as Market Risk, during development activities

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- Master’s degree in a related field, such as financial mathematics or quantitative topic with strong finance profile
- 1-2 years’ experience from a similar role such as valuation control or risk control
- Good knowledge of financial markets products, financial modelling, risk and valuation techniques
- Strong programming skills with a focus on Python

We are looking for a person with high level of can-do mentality and enthusiasm. As a person we believe that you are analytical, communicative, unpretentious, a good team player but also confident in working independently.

* Start: As soon as possible
* Work extent: Fulltime, starting with six moths but with good chanses for direct recruitment
* Location: Sundbyberg, Stockholm. Possibility to work remote a few days a week
