ValueOne is looking for a Value Chain Manager for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Västerås. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.

The role  

As Value Chain Manager you will be leading the local Sales & Operations Planning Process, as well as inventory and planning activities for the Local Product Group. You will be developing and deploying the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Inventory Management best practices and solutions for the entire value chain of the local unit in line with the Global Division and Product Group Strategy.

It will be possible to work remotely a few days a week. 

Main tasks:

Overall planning (including customer demand, supply, capacity), as well as master scheduling, and supplier forecasting.
Participating in improvement meetings and drive improvement initiatives.
Perform analyses for planning & fulfillment metrics and identify key root causes for non-performance.
Optimizing stock levels and Net Working Capital.
 Developing, establishing and sharing best practices for integrated business planning, operations planning, inventory management and resource management.
Be accountable for end-to-end metrics: customer on time delivery, lead-time, inventory, net working capital, and forecast accuracy. 

Experience and competencies  

To be successful in this role you need to have at least two years’ experience from similar roles. We prefer if you have a university degree, preferably within planning and logistics. Experience with SAP and planning of Low volume/High mix is meritorious. If you are certified in APICS CSCP or CPIM it is a plus. Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken is a must.
