Position Description
We are now looking for a passionate and driven Senior VAT Specialist/Team Leader to join our team in Gothenburg. You will be responsible for:
Leading and coordinating the work within the VAT department in order to ensure compliance in VAT reporting for Swedish legal entities
Driving the improvement work in order to increase quality and effectiveness
Representing VAT department (contacts with Group Tax, Swedish Tax Agency, Auditors)
Provide stakeholders with information regarding the VAT area
Internal trainings for VAT Specialists in the team
Preparation of VAT reporting for some Swedish legal entities including foreign VAT registrations
Preparation of VAT returns and answers the questions to Swedish Tax Agency (SKV) related to VAT
Required education and experience
Academic degree in business administration (completed university degree of at least 180hp/120p in business administration)
Solid and current experience in VAT reporting
Experience in accounting
Experience from Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), audit company and/or a finance department in an international corporation
Technical/functional/language skills
Proficiency in Swedish and English both verbal and written is required
Extensive user knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
Experience in the SAP
Preferred personal profile
