VA/VE Local Leader to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Scandinavia

We are looking for a Value Added/Value Engineering Local Leader to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Scandinavia.

Your role

As a local VA/VE leader, you will have the overall responsibility to administrate and conduct VA/VE workshops in the Scandinavian region. The role includes responsibility to identify savings potentials in current and new products, run workshops internally or at the supplier’s premises, and make sure the savings come through and are tracked. We are looking for a professional, ready to drive the process and adapt the VA/VE methodology and hungry to reduce cost of goods sold. Since the ultimate goal is to reduce cost, this role organizationally sits under Procurement Department, although the role itself is cross-functional to large extent.

Deliver results according to budget and KPI’sAdapt available tools, processes and methods to improve cost and reduce complexityMonitor and report KPIs to the Scandinavia and EMEA organizationsDrive collaboration with EMEA entities and EMEA VA/VE Director

Who are you?

You are a self-starter, with a strong can-do attitude. You are genuinely passionate about cost and technology. You listen to everyone but your professional fact based argumentation makes you an authority in the organization. You can navigate comfortably in cross functional teams, inspire and collaborate as well as organize your work and administration on your own. The position reports directly to the Procurement Director. Office location can be Eskilstuna, Stockholm, Mölnlycke, Ballerup and Ski.
