iLab is a modern, private laboratory in Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in November 2020.Our facility started as a collaboration between highly trained medical and scientific staff and private investors. The lab is providing scientific analyses to private clinics in the Scandinavian region. We are continuously validating our analyses in collaboration with the Department of Infectious Disease at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden.
In the role of CEO, you will have the overall responsibility for the operations based in Västra Frölunda. The board consists of representatives from both Stockholm and HQ in Gothenburg. Together with them, you create structure in the company. ensure delivery to clients and anchor iLab ’s position with both existing and new customers, suppliers and partners.
To succeed in this role, we want you to have a background from working in a management position in a lab. You are a confident and clear leader who can move between both the strategic work and daily operational support.
Your work assignements:
-Overall responsibility for finance
-Follow up regarding company results.
-Overall staff responsibility. Operational support, prioritizing and planning of the business
-Lead continous improvement work of processes and routines
-Overall responsibility for the relationship and development of existing and new customers and partners.
-Be a link between the board, owners and the business
You are an experienced and confident leader with experience of management teamwork. You lead with passion and joy but are clear in your communication and have the ability to support your organization to make the right priorities in a complex and fast-moving everyday life.
We believe that you are forward-leaning and curious about new technology and future trends. As you are expected to strengthen and consolidate the relationship with existing customers, we believe that you are communicative, credible and enjoy representing a company in the role of CEO.
Qualifications:
• University degree in microbiology, clinical bacteriology, clinical virology, clinical genetics or equivalent is an advantage
Experience from sales, economy, budget planning is preferable.
• A few years of experience in a senior position
• Experience of management teamwork
