Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Data Scientist/ Data Engineer to be responsible for developing scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract knowledge or insights to drive the future of applied analytics. Provide thought leadership, perform sophisticated statistical analytics, and build insights into data to provide the business meaningful insights, identify trends, and measure performance that addresses business problems. Collaborate with business and process owners to understand business issues, and with engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions, where applicable. In 5G networks, AI and ML are essential to deliver better performance than today and to employ the potential of edge computing. We are making our networks more resilient and adaptive through large and complex data. We are working with our internal efficiency for example through automated filter tuning in factories and network optimization to ensure world-leading performance in customer’s networks. Efficient data infrastructure is key to making it possible, which means there is a need for state-of-the-art data architectures and secure solutions over multiple data centers. Reinforcement learning, deep learning, and more conventional learning techniques are in focus as well as re-designing of our company’s dataOps and assembling data sets that meet business requirements.
You will

To be successful in the role you must have
A Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in telecommunication, data science, and/or data engineering.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Deep/broad knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization, or related field.
AI/ML applications development skills through state-of-the-art frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn.
Experience building ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
A genuine interest in new and applied technology and software engineering coupled with a high degree of business understanding.
Analyzing, Presenting & communicating information.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge in Python.
The ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to a non-analytical audience.
You constantly want to learn new skills and are proactive with your own development.
Ability to understand business operations and translate them into well-defined analytical work.
Minimum qualification and experience requirements
Education: MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related field;
Cloud-native computing can be a compliment
Proven experience required
Evidence of academic training in programming e.g., Python
