If the answer is YES, then look no further and apply for the job as Vehicle Calibration Engineer in the Complete Powertrain Calibration group, located in Gothenburg.
Complete Powertrain Calibration is responsible for vehicle related functions, covering the whole chain from hardware related parameters, electric hardware parameters, sensor parameters and powertrain control parameters. These functions and how they are calibrated, heavily impact the perceived user experience of the truck.
You will belong to a group with great team spirit and a lot of experience. The group of about ten people consists of vehicle calibration engineers, a driving performance team and a problem-solving support team that supports our engineers, should there be any powertrain issues in a rig, on a field test or in an application truck.
Core Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the calibration and data setting of vehicle related functions, primarily in the engine management system but also in other Powertrain control systems. The work is done through simulations, by evaluating data and by using subjective measures.
Retrieve and consolidate end user requirements into well working final product functionality. The role requires a close cooperation with software developers for the development of new functions and features. The work will give you good insight in the truck functionality and on occasion also involve trouble shooting and vehicle updates.
