Vehicle Homologation Leader with the mission to get our new and updated cars certified/ homologated across the world within Homologation Integration in close cooperation with the Vehicle Programs, R&D and internally Product Regulations & Compliance. 

What’s in it for you?
Getting the best of combining working with vehicle program launches with R&D and our markets all over the world. At Homologation Integration our task is to prepare for and manage compliance for all Volvo vehicles. As a Vehicle Homologation Leader, you’ll start preparing the compliance process two to three years ahead of production start and follow through until the vehicles within the Vehicle Program are approved by authorities around the world. 

You’ll work closely with eART VCD (Vehicle Certification & Deployment) and the rest of PRC (Product Regulations and Compliance), but your contacts are within all of Product Creation and all our markets and importers. Homologation Integration consists, besides of the Vehicle Homologation Leaders, also of Market Compliance Managers working directly with our markets.

What you’ll do
Your mission is to prepare and manage the compliance process from PC (Program Confirmation) throughout the vehicle program until completion at FSR (Final Status Report). 
Your main task is to ensure that the vehicle launches obtain relevant certificates fulfilling national automotive regulations, according to the existing valid time plan, to be able to register vehicles in the markets Volvo Cars operate in.

You work with PRC, eART VCD and Release Office to prepare and monitor the whole compliance process for a certain time period. You do that together with other VHL’s and PO’s within Homologation Integration. You will work closely with Homologation Release (within PRC) and the Certification Engineers, that do the actual certification work as well as Pre-Cert and the Market Compliance Managers. Your job is to communicate the vehicle program content, lead investigations of content changes, support the homologation process and to help in removing any impediments.

We are looking for someone who:
* Have project management experience and possesses the ability to lead people in a complex environment.
* Have at least a BSc degree or equivalent. A Master’s degree is favourable.
* Have good knowledge of the vehicle development process and experience in industrial launches. Experience in verification, testing, attribute work, automotive regulations and certification is a merit.
* Master English fluently (written and spoken) and have a driving licence.
* Have social and diplomatic skills and the ability to adopt to different situations in an effective way, turning negative to positive.
* Are a skilled communicator and drive for results in a structured and organized way.
* Possesses the ability to motivate people and have an open and positive mindset.
