Scania Customized truck development is looking for you who want to be a part of and have the possibility to set and affect the design when we develop and introduce new concepts and products for our defence customers transport solutions. This position and the team have the responsibility of bringing forward and industrializing customized design solutions for the complete vehicle system. We are looking at an exciting future ahead of us with great challenges and the introduction of several new products.

Your tasks

As a vehicle manager you will be a key player and have a central role in the development process from the first conceptual studies to the final verifications when introducing new customized defence products. Your main task will be to develop a complete vehicle system from customer requirements. You will work close to the customer and be part of a cross functional team where you together with our development engineers, production engineers, purchasers and body builders secure the high demands and expectations that is expected of our product regarding reliability, performance and functionality.

Your profile

We are looking for you who hold a Bachelor- or Master degree in vehicle technology, mechanical design or with equivalent experience. Extra merits if you have prior experience in defence product development. As a person you are innovative, take responsibility, are driven in your work and cooperative. We think that you have a general interest in technology, vehicles or mechanical designs and that you have a good ability in the English language, both spoken and written.
