Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania is building up a team called Technical Operation with the focus cyber security for systems connected to the vehicle operation, VSOC. This is a great opportunity for you to join in building this team together with other talented people. 


The position 

The mission of the VSOC is to act as the gatekeeper ensuring the cybersecurity of Scania’s products by continuously monitoring product-related data flows and actively hunting for product-related threats and vulnerabilities, with the aim to prevent or enable swift remediation of security incidents.

What will you do?
Together with the other cybersecurity analysts, you will initially work with developing and setting up our platform to enable a fully operational VSOC by 2023. The high-level targets are set but the team will have a big degree of freedom when it comes to choosing the technical solution and implementation details such as 


• Define requirements for vehicle data
• Define rules for alarms
• Define and decide on possible preliminary mitigation actions
• Threat hunting/threat intelligence to proactively prevent incidents
• Improvements and automation

Who you are


• Good knowledge of automotive technology and various communication protocols
• Experience in working within the IT/cyber security field
• Hands-on experience in advanced data analysis using SQL, R, or Pandas
• Profound knowledge of some programming language (preferably Python)
• Knowledge of UNECE R155 and/or ISO 21434
• Analytical mindset
• Hungry to learn more

Most importantly, you are passionate about cyber security. You have deep knowledge in cyber security, feel comfortable putting requirements to other teams and suppliers, passionate about analyzing and improving our services.
