Vehicle Touchpoint Expansion Lead
In this role your responsibility will be to find and develop locations for our local delivery, test drive and return points, also known as Hubs, on our markets in Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy and Sweden).

This is a perfect opportunity for somebody who likes taking projects from beginning to end, and who enjoy the many varying aspects of establishing a physical presence in new markets. We are looking to compile a team of three people of different skills and experiences to support each other in different aspects of the development, while each individual will be the main responsible for the hubs in his/her region.

We are now hiring the first member of this team, and the location is preferably in Amsterdam or Gothenburg, but other locations where we have an office can also be considered.

You will be overall responsible for the projects, but supported by specific functions with specialized competence, such as eg construction specific issues.

What you'll do

- Scout appropriate locations in all of our seven markets, presenting the options for approval.
- Lead the negotiations with the landlord, either through a realtor agency or with the support of our legal and purchasing team.
- Do assessments, find contractors and plan construction of the Hub space.
- Dealing with security aspects and create a safe work environment for the employees in the Hub.
- Deal with local governments for various registrations and approvals of the space.
- Come up with design ideas for the space, sourcing furniture, staff equipment etc., supported by e.g. our retail project team for construction technical specifics
- After handover of the Hub space, work with the staff to do regular follow ups and maintenance to improve/develop the location


What you should have

- Experience with development of physical locations, e.g., from developing stores or delivery points, through one or several areas - location scouting, contract negotiation, design work, etc.
- Experience dealing with bureaucracy with local governmental departments.
- Experience with leading projects and coordinating with different departments.
- A strong team focus and willingness to support when needed to reach the teams goals.
- Comfortable making own decisions or recommendations within your field of responsibilities.
- Ability to travel and be onsite at locations several times a month.
- Full professional proficiency in English
