The firm has world class derivatives desk, algorithmic trading, streaming markets, and discretionary strategies.
The role
As a Junior Associate at GCAB & XBTO Humla Ventures, you will be an integral part of our global team, who will support you professionally and personally during your professional journey with us. You will bring value to our venture in a variety of ways.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project management:
Delegate tasks and set deadlines;
Oversee day-to-day operations;
Monitor team performance and report on metrics;
Discover training needs and provide coaching;
Financial analysis and Due Diligence:
Attend meetings with entrepreneurs;
Perform market related and due diligence research on target investments;
Perform data and financial analysis on the targeted companies;
Data management and reporting:
Supervise the company's numerous data systems;
Develop and implement procedures for effective data management;
Prepare analytical reports for internal and external counterparties;
Special Projects:
Participating in any other deal that involves XBTO and is requiring research, marketing or analysis.



Requirements
We seek positive hard working people who can adapt to changing situations, and enjoy working with a team and meeting new people.
Master’s Degree from a top business school
2-3 years of investment experience (VC/PE, investment banking, private equity)
Fluency in English, Swedish, and Russian
Excellent communication skills, oral and written
Strong knowledge of Excel including advanced functions and modeling
Advanced knowledge of Excel including the creation of automated reports
Experience with cash flow modeling and investment valuation techniques
Experience within the crypto and blockchain industries
Experience working with CRMs such as Pipedrive and building analytics
Experience with data management and analytics using Excel or a CRM like Pipedrive
Ability to design professional-looking Powerpoint presentations
Experience managing projects and coordinating a team’s tasks
