CBS (Customized Bioprocess solution) is an organization within Life Sciences delivering customized bioprocess hardware. We have a matrix organisation where each customer order becomes a project with resources from project management, system design, detailed design, manufacturing transfer, sourcing and verification. Internally we are working together with R&D, After Sales, Supply Chain and Product marketing to utilize the full strength of the Life Sciences organization.

Role Summary

CBS is looking for a new colleague to join the Verification team. The primary responsibility of our Verification and Validation Engineer is to plan and execute verification of customized BioProcess products before shipment to customer. Essential Responsibilities

The role includes performance of factory acceptance tests together with our customers and development of verification procedures in order to ensure that product performance, reliability and other user requirements are fulfilled. The main focus in the role as Verification Engineer is to plan and execute verification of customized BioProcess products. You will be working in a team of approximately 10 Validation and Verification engineers and report to the Section Manager Verification.


Key responsibilities include:

Functional test planning of products within CBS
Functional testing of products within CBS
Reject/approve test results within CBS
Check and approve/reject other verification engineers' test records
Perform troubleshooting and suggest corrective actions
Report defects in products
Participate in customers factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Participate in technical discussion with customers
Participate in development of procedures for functional testing
Support Service with maintenance and repair of customized equipment

Installations on customer sites may occur which involve occasional travels to customer sites.

Qualifications

You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily technical challenges.


Formal requirements are:

Engineer (Swedish level of "Gymnasieingenjör" and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or "högskoleingenjör") in medical technology, electrical technology or similar knowledge from working experience
GMP knowledge
Experience from testing/verification of chromatography systems
English and Swedish as working languages, both written and spoken
EU work permit
