This is us, your new colleagues
EES (Embedded Electronic System) is looking for an additional team player. We are a diverse group of engineers where one of our responsibilities are to test and verify our Embedded Software platforms and machine projects. EES provide the building blocks for the complete Volvo CE machine range, from Wheel loaders to Excavators. Our job is to make sure that our software has the highest quality we can achieve.
We do this by supporting our projects with requirement reviews and developing: Test methods, automated tests, test framework, applications as well as building/developing HIL rigs.


We have an exciting journey right now with disruptive technology shifts such as Electro-mobility, Automation and Connectivity and we need to support them all. This means that we will verify every one of these new groundbreaking technologies and Embedded systems and support our machine projects every step of the way.


This is how you could make an impact
To succeed in this position, you will be involved in and work with:
Developing and adapting test methods
Reviewing requirements
Developing automated tests
Execute test cases
Improving ways of working within verification

The required knowledge and experience for this position are:
University/master’s degree in Embedded systems and/or Software development or equivalent experience within those areas.
Programming languages such as Python, C/C++, C#, Labview and Git is beneficial.
Working experience with test development for embedded electronics is beneficial.
Proficient in English and Swedish (both oral and written).
Any experience in an agile way of working (SCRUM, KANBAN etc.) is beneficial.
