Who are we?
We are the organization responsible for defining and developing the next generation of HMI (Human Machine Interface) that will be part of Volvo Group’s transport solutions. We are talking about instrument cluster, infotainment, driver user experience, camera-based systems and much more. We belong to the Driver Interaction & Infotainment organization, part of Vehicle Technology within Global Trucks Technology.


We are now looking for a Verification Engineer to join our team. As a Verification Engineer you will be part of our development team ensuring the reliability, safety, and high-quality standards and performance of our products. You will play a crucial role in validating a complex combination of hardware and software tracks with considerable variability management to consider. You will be working with HMI application developers, product owners, HMI and verification engineers, among other stakeholders to give feedback on verification activities performed.  

Key Responsibilities
Verification: Responsible for preparing the test environment for the verification activities to be performed. Perform regression verification according to software release plan.
Collaboration: Ensure the required information is gathered for the verification activities to be performed properly. Likewise, provide feedback to concerned stakeholders on relevant information observed during verification activities.
Documentation: Prepare reports to concerned stakeholders summarizing the findings throughout the verification activities.
Problem Solving: Be curious, pro-active, look for root cause as an extra-mile.
Continuous Improvement: Observe opportunities for improvement in the verification way of working. Stay updated on the latest automative verification methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience in verification or validation within the automotive sector.
Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Experience with verification tools (ex: CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality and safe products.
