Our Exciting Opportunity
As a verification engineer you will work with Ericsson’s latest Radio, Baseband and Enclosure products (units, nodes, networks), including activities like requirement analysis, design support, integration, verification, customer support. In this position, you will run new product platforms, frequency variants and new features. An important part of our work is to configure and command the nodes. You will have access to our Radio Base Station lab and do hands on work with Radio Frequency equipment’s. In our department, you will learn about RF measurements and instruments such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators. You will also get to learn about internal and regulatory requirements for RBS radio.
Our verifications are performed inhouse but also at external test houses and we are a global organization with close collaboration with our colleagues in China and Canada.
You will
• Perform verification on Ericsson’s Radio, Baseband, Enclosure products
• Provide trouble shooting and customer support
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
• Report to the Manager Radio I&V RBS RPV
To be successful in the role you must have
• Education degree - B.Sc or M. Sc in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Engineering Physics or similar
• RF and radio knowledge
• RF measurement technics and instrument handling skills
• Experience in C/C++, C#, Python, MATLAB
• English Skills both speaking and writing
• Team work spirit
• Open mindedness and ability to innovate
• Willingness to constantly learn and share new findings
• Self-motivation, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge
