As a verification team that is part of Product Development Unit Radio, within Development Unit Networks, we are working with Radio, Baseband and Enclosure products (units, nodes, networks), including activities like requirement analysis, design support, integration, verification and customer support. In our team, you will run new product platforms, frequency variants and new features. The job will give you access to our RBS (Radio Base Station) lab and do hands-on work with Radio frequency (RF) equipment. In our department, you will also get to learn about internal and regulatory ENV requirements for RBS radio.
We are making sure our products fulfill all needed requirements and standards to reach the global markets. The team is responsible to ensure our products are meeting the ENV (Environmental Outdoor, Power & PLD and Acoustic) requirements for the different markets.
Our verifications are performed both inside Ericsson facilities and at external test houses. We are a global organization with close collaboration with our colleagues in China and Canada.
You will
Configure and command the nodes (Radio + Baseband).
Perform ENV verification of Ericsson’s products.
Provide troubleshooting and customer support
Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
To be successful in the role you must have
A technical degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Baseband and Radio product knowledge.
Basic knowledge in Java, Linux and LabVIEW.
Experience in reading/understanding ENV standards and regulations.
RF and radio knowledge such as RF measurement technics, instrument handling, wireless systems and Digital Signal Analysis.
Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivation with an outstanding willingness to learn, share and to support.
Open-mindedness and innovation skills.
Good communication skills.
