What can we propose?
You will contribute to our world-class development and integration of electrical system solutions with the aim to reach our Zero City vision: zero emissions, zero noise, zero accidents and zero congestion. You will lead the development area of Driver Assistance and will work closely together with different stakeholders within AB Volvo in order to achieve our customer’s expectations.


As a Verification Engineer you will identify and break down function requirements into test cases, as well as perform verification in the vehicles. You will be part of the Driver Assistance team and be responsible to deliver test reports. Also, involved in all phases of the product development process.

B.Sc. or higher education in Electrics, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or similar is highly valuable as well as previous experience from design of embedded systems in BEA2 or TEA2 architectures within Volvo AB. Previous experience from Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is considered as meritorious.


Since you have good engineering judgment and priorities, you have the ability and interest to technically support, lead and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset. You like to share your passion for technical solutions and you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you display driving force and have a structured way of working.


Main area of responsibility:
You will be a part of the Advanced Driver Assistance group within the Electrical & Software Architecture Department. You will play an important role in achieving our Active Safety program targets and your main responsibilities are:
Drive the function verification in vehicles related to the Advanced Driver Assistance area
Break down function requirements, create and maintain test cases
Analyze the verification outcome and create test reports
Perform vehicle function verification, during the development phase, using analytical, detailed-oriented skills targeting the improvement of the design
