About the role
Our client within automotive industry is looking for a Verification Engineer, where you will be responsible for MIL (Model in the Loop) SIL (Software in the Loop) & HIL (Hardware in the Loop) simulator verification of a pre-determined system. The work includes development of MIL, SIL & HIL simulation test environments, writing test specifications, perform and analyze HIL simulator tests, present and report verification results. The work is performed in close co-operation in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external contacts such as different development sites around the world and suppliers. Modis are now looking for a new colleague to join the team who want to work with simulation and verification of different control system concepts within automotive area.

You will develop simulation environment and test cases, run simulations to test and evaluate different functions. You will be part of the MIL, SIL & HIL team and work in close cooperation with different control function development engineers as well as with colleagues at the electrical and electronics engineering department.

About you
You are a methodical, curious and dedicated engineer with passion for problem solving. You are open-minded and enjoy teamwork but at the same time, you are able to work independently and drive development on your own. You are good at networking with other people, like challenges. You most likely have an automotive interest.. Experience from automotive industry is therefore mandatory. Furthermore, you are driven, have the capacity to work individually and in a group and has a structured way of working.

Qualifications

• Bc or M Sc. In Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics or Physics)
• Minimum 5 years experience from Development of embedded control systems within automotive
• Knowledge of SW integration & basic knowledge of simulator hardware
• D-space Tool chain knowledge
• Continuous integration / Continuous deployment
• Jenkins & Python knowledge
• Fluent in english, Swedish is merit.
• Living in or near Gothenburg, Sweden with a valid working permit
