Global Technology Area Verification & Validation – GTA V&V is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving development chain including AD Integration, Verification & Validation, System Integration, Transport Mission testing, and Data Analytics.


The Analytics & Methodology team within GTA V&V is driving innovative AD test analytics, method development, and test execution as part of System Verification and Validation of AD products. The test environments used are SIL/HIL based simulators and different data analytics/statistics tools. You will work alongside talented group of colleagues who respect each other’s differences and seek to understand fresh perspectives.

The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.


What we have to offer


As a Verification & Validation Analytics Engineer, you will analyze Use Cases and application sites of our Automated Driving solution. By using different mathematical/statistical methods/tools you will perform characterization and decomposition of relevant operational driving domains and dynamic driving tasks. You will also identify relevant scenarios to be tested, create evaluators, and generate quantifiable performance metrics/KPIs. Through coverage driven testing in Closed Loop Simulator you will apply the results of the analytics to uncover the limitation of our system, improve confidence and reduce the residual risks as core effort of validating the reliability and safety of our Automated Driving solution.

Master's degree in Physics Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent professional experience
PhD in relevant area is a merit
Documented experience as Data Analytics Engineer
Experience in AD/ADAS Functional Development/Testing
Experience in HIL/SIL based Closed Loop Simulation
