Paradox Development Studio makes world-leading grand strategy games that our fans spend hundreds of hours in, and our artists make sure we do it in style!
We are now looking for a talented VFX Artist to join our team in Stockholm, working mainly on producing VFX for our great in-house titles.

About the role
The Game VFX Artist we’re looking for has a broad skill set and can take on a variety of tasks, such as creating high quality VFX and VFX Animations using our in-house engine and tools, both for current and new titles. You will collaborate with Art Leads and the Art Director to maintain the style and quality in our games, while helping to create and continuously refine the VFX creation pipeline.
Requirements
Proficiency in Maya or similar software
Strong understanding of techniques used in game engines and VFX
Experience with animation principles
Nice to haves
Experience with a scripting or programming language
Node based VFX systems
Technical art skills, such as HLSL programming
Experience working in the games industry
